What’s on The Sims Laundry List: May 20th

It’s only Tuesday, and already we’ve got our first – if only – big piece of news for The Sims 4. And it’s everyone’s favourite time, because the latest Laundry List is out offering a grab-bag of what the folks at EA are focusing their attention on, with that in mind here’s our top 3 list of what’s on The Sims May 20th Laundry List.

The Top three

  • Weather Effects Occurring Indoors: It never rains, but it certainly pours for some users. This is probably one of the more egregious bugs, as it has been a long-term problem for some users and was noted as late as last month. But now that it’s properly on the Laundry List we can at least hope a fix is on the way.
  • No Fishing on Sulani: Conservation is important, but given the big selling point of Island Living it’s not surprising some are taking issue with a seeming ban on shoreline fishing. Fortunately, fishing off a boat still works for affected users while a fix is in the works for this.
  • Incorrect Tile Size for Sleek Bathroom Walls: Probably one of the more aggravating things for any devoted builder is having something that’s just a bit ‘off’. And while it’s certainly not intentional with the Sleek Bathroom kit’s Rock Solid Faux Wall side table, some users have found it incorrectly taking up two tiles instead of one.
What you can’t see is all the red boxes in build mode

While it may be a little annoying for The Sims 4 to have these issues persisting, it’s still good that EA have announced that they’ll be focused on fixing them. You can take a glance back at last month’s Laundry List to see what other issues had cropped up and were (hopefully) fixed).

But in the meantime, if you’re having issues with official stuff, maybe it’s time to dip into something a little older and a bit bolder with our guide to using mods in The Sims 2?
